  • 1874

    Foundations of today’s Wendt-Noise Control GmbH

    Hermann Wendt opens a specialist store for rubber-based products in Berlin and thus sets the foundations of today’s Wendt-Noise Control GmbH.

  • 1926

    New business sector "insulation and seal technology"

    The grandson of the former company founder creates the new business sector "insulation and seal technology".

  • 1960

    Branch in Ludwigshafen

    A stand-alone branch by the name "Isolier-Wendt" is opened in Ludwigshafen. At that time it is still considered a purely insulation company.

  • 1980

    Foundation Wendt-Noise Control GmbH

    The area of technical sound insulation, today’s "Wendt-Noise Control GmbH" is founded. The core business is the design, manufacture and supply of soundproofing solutions for power plant and plant engineering.

  • 1994

    IBS part of the Wendt-Group

    The independent company IBS "Ingenieurbüro für Schall- und Schwingungstechnik GmbH" becomes part of the Wendt-Group.

  • 1995

    Founding of today's "Wendt-Automotive GmbH"

    Founding of today's "Wendt-Automotive GmbH", a sister company, which supplies the automotive industry with high-temperature insulations.

  • 1998

    Change of name

    Change of name from Isolier-Wendt to Wendt-SIT GmbH.

  • 2001

    Relocation Frankenthal

    Relocation of the complete Wendt-Group incl. IBS in today's office and production complex to Frankenthal.

  • 2011

    The branch in the USA

    The branch in the USA, "Wendt-SIT North America Corporation", is founded.

  • 2013

    Disincorporation of Wendt-Noise Control GmbH

    Disincorporation of Wendt-Noise Control GmbH from the previous Wendt-SIT GmbH.
