Structural Engineer (Steelwork) (all genders) for International Projects

Your tasks and responsibilities
  • You are responsible for the static pre-calculation of our support steel structures, based on the specifications of our customers and the relevant international standards
  • You have a leading role in terms of all communication with our customers regarding the stress analysis of our projects
  • You support our engineering department when technical optimization is required
  • You are the first contact for our sales department to discuss to propose and pre-estimate economic solutions for our steel structures
  • You monitor our steelwork manufacturers for their detail design of welding connections

Your profile
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, ideally with emphasis on structural steelwork
  • Several years of professional experience in the design / calculation of steel structures
  • Skilled handling of calculation programs, maybe you already know our static program SCIA
  • A certain level of commercial understanding
  • Advanced level in English language, basis knowledge in German language
